Outpatient Rehab in Orlando

Our Outpatient Approach

Outpatient treatment is designed to offer therapy sessions on a weekly basis without the requirement of having to live at a facility. It’s best utilized as a step down treatment method from residential treatment in a comprehensive treatment approach. But, may be a good option for individuals who cannot designate weeks of their time to a residential facility as well. In any case, our outpatient programs can provide individuals with the coping mechanisms, education, and supportive therapies they need to establish long term recovery.

Here at our outpatient rehab in Orlando, we offer a number of outpatient programs designed to provide a comprehensive, step down approach. While patients enrolled in any of our outpatient programs have the opportunity to utilize any and all of the facility’s resources, the programs do differ in terms of clinical hours per week. Our three outpatient programs include:

Day and Night: This program requires individuals to spend a number of clinical hours per week, both day and night, at our facility to participate in various therapy sessions and activities.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): This level of care requires less clinical hours each week than the Day and Night program, but more than the outpatient program.

Outpatient: This step of treatment is the final phase of comprehensive treatment at our facility and requires the least amount of clinical hours per week.

While methods utilized throughout each of our outpatient programs do not change, clinical hours spent at our facility each week do. This helps individuals to slowly introduce what they learn in treatment into their personal lives. And, to have support while learning to juggle both personal responsibilities and newly gained sobriety. Studies show that the longer a person gets help through treatment, the better their chances at obtaining true and lasting recovery. So, outpatient treatment can greatly help to slowly introduce concepts of treatment into daily life to increase the chance of preventing relapse and sticking with recovery efforts.

Outpatient Services at Premiere Addiction Recovery

During outpatient programs, patients can take advantage of a number of different therapeutic and educational resources including:

Family Therapy: Since every member of a family may be affected by addiction, family resources are a great way to include family into recovery efforts. During family therapy, family members can learn more about addiction, how it’s affecting their lives, and coping mechanisms to help support their recovering loved one.

Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT): This type of therapy utilizes prescription medications to help with the detox process. Since detox involves the experience of debilitating withdrawal and severe cravings, these prescriptions can help to reduce these symptoms to offer a better chance of detox conclusion.

Individualized Therapy Sessions: One-on-one therapy sessions are a great asset to addiction treatment as they allow individuals to identify and confront personal reasons for developing addiction. This way, individuals can develop life-saving relapse prevention skills which can be utilized for the remainder of their lifetimes.

Group Therapy Sessions: Group therapy allows for the experience of sharing with peers to develop a community of support. Also, group therapy can aid in sharing the addiction experience with others to offer encouragement, accountability, and a sense of belonging.
